Jyotishi Online – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules framed thereunder, and other applicable laws in force in India, governing the access to and use of the website{" "} jyotishionline.com ("Website") and all services, features, content, consultations, communications, digital sessions, and offerings provided thereon, including but not limited to astrology, tarot, numerology, palmistry, and allied spiritual or advisory services (collectively referred to as the "Services").

The Website and Services are owned, controlled, and operated by{" "} Completely Different, having its registered/operational office at Ideal Enclave, Row House No. 7, Ideal Park Road, Bhayander East, Thane, Mumbai – 401105, Maharashtra, India (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using the Website or availing any of the Services in any manner whatsoever, the user ("User", "you", or "your") expressly acknowledges that they have read, understood, and irrevocably agreed to be bound by these Terms, including any policies incorporated herein by reference, as may be amended from time to time, without limitation or qualification.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue access to the Website and refrain from using the Services. Continued use of the Website shall be deemed as conclusive acceptance of these Terms.

1. Platform Overview

Jyotishi Online is an online astrology platform that enables users to connect with independent astrologers through:

  • Chat, call, and video consultations
  • Live astrology broadcasts
  • Horoscope-based services
  • Personalized astrological guidance

All services are provided strictly for guidance and informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information
  • Use must be for lawful and personal purposes only

Users below 18 may use the Platform only with parental or legal guardian consent.

3. User Accounts & Security

  • Login is OTP-based.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.
  • Any activity through your account is deemed to be performed by you.
  • Fraud, impersonation, or misuse may result in suspension or permanent termination.

4. Astrology Consultations & Disclaimer

  • Astrology is an interpretive and traditional practice.
  • Predictions are based on astrologers' personal knowledge and experience.
  • No accuracy, certainty, or guaranteed outcome is promised.

Astrology is not a substitute for:

  • Medical advice
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Psychological counseling

Jyotishi Online is not responsible for decisions or outcomes arising from consultations.

5. Payments & Pricing (Users)

  • All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
  • Prices may vary based on astrologer, service type, or duration.
  • All payments are final and non-refundable, except as stated in the Refund Policy.
  • The Platform is not responsible for bank, UPI, wallet, or network failures.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Double payment deduction
  • Payment deducted but session not started due to technical error
  • Astrologer fails to join the session

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Dissatisfaction with predictions
  • User network issues
  • User leaving session early
  • Change of mind or wrong question

Refund requests must be raised within 24 hours with valid proof.

7. Astrologers – Registration & KYC

  • Accurate profile and registration details are mandatory.
  • Valid PAN card and KYC verification are compulsory.
  • Bank account or UPI details must be provided for withdrawals.

8. Astrologers – Payments & Earnings

  • Clients pay the full consultation amount + 18% GST.
  • Platform deducts 30% service fee.
  • 70% earnings are credited to the astrologer's wallet immediately after session completion.

9. Astrologers – Wallet & Withdrawal Policy

  • Minimum wallet balance required for withdrawal: ₹500
  • Full wallet balance must be withdrawn at once (no partial withdrawals).
  • 2% TDS is deducted during withdrawal.
  • Payouts are processed within 3–5 working days.

10. Off-Platform Transactions (Strict Prohibition)

  • All consultations and payments must occur only through Jyotishi Online.

Any off-platform transaction, contact exchange, or payment request will result in:

  • Permanent account ban
  • Forfeiture of wallet balance

11. External Work & Promotion

  • Astrologers may work with other platforms independently.
  • Promotion of external services on Jyotishi Online is strictly prohibited.
  • Violation results in permanent ban and loss of wallet access.

12. Monitoring, Recording & Safety

For safety, quality, and dispute handling:

  • Chats may be reviewed
  • Calls and live sessions may be recorded
  • Content may be monitored by admins

Recordings are used strictly for internal, legal, and compliance purposes.

13. Community Conduct (Users & Astrologers)

Users must NOT:

  • Abuse or harass astrologers
  • Share vulgar, sexual, hateful, or illegal content
  • Ask for personal contact details
  • Record or redistribute sessions
  • Promote fraud, violence, or self-harm

Astrologers must NOT:

  • Guarantee outcomes
  • Create fear or superstition
  • Offer medical/legal/financial advice
  • Perform black magic or harmful rituals
  • Request personal contact details

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, permanent ban, or legal action.

14. Live Broadcasting Rules

Allowed:

  • General astrology discussions
  • Horoscope readings
  • Educational and Q&A sessions

Not Allowed:

  • Personal contact requests
  • Sexual, political, or hateful content
  • Tantrik / black magic claims
  • Guaranteed results
  • Harmful or abusive language

15. Intellectual Property

All Platform content including text, logos, designs, videos, and software are owned by Jyotishi Online. Unauthorized copying or distribution is strictly prohibited.

16. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

17. Limitation of Liability

Jyotishi Online is not liable for:

  • Decisions made based on astrology advice
  • Emotional, financial, or psychological losses
  • Technical failures or third-party service issues

Maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.

18. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts without notice for policy violations.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
